Family Fun Day

An exciting day of hands-on family fun! Explore magnets, mirrors, and more. Hop aboard a fire truck and learn all about the laboratory’s protective services. Be captivated by the “Mystery and History of Science” show and play a part in the “Super Scientific Circus.”

Facility Visits

The Science Learning Center

Discover Science at the Science Learning Center where you can experience interactive exhibits that demonstrate basic scientific principles.

Bus tickets available after attending overview in Berkner Hall, Room B; last facility visit begins at 3 p.m.

Laboratory Protective Services

Meet the team that helps the Laboratory go and grow safely; take fire extinguisher training; use a thermal imaging camera to see in the dark; climb aboard large fire trucks! Last facility visit begins at 3 p.m.

Paul Infranco maintains an extensive resource of items and documents related to the history of nearby towns and local support and participation in the US military.

 

“History of the BNL Site,” presented by Tim Green, Natural and Cultural Resources Manager, Environmental Protection Division

Tim Green manages BNL’s cultural and natural resources including historic structures and artifacts onsite and the research and monitoring of local ecosystems.
