Call for Pre-Proposals from PowerBridge NY to fund Cleantech Innovations

Program Description

PowerBridge NY a collaborative effort between Columbia University, Brookhaven National Laboratory, Stony Brook University, Cornell University’s NYC Tech, Polytechnic Institute of NYU, NYU, and the City University of New York was established with the funds from NYSERDA (New York State Energy Research and Development Authority).   PowerBridgeNY will support and fund proposals from these institutions to help commercialize promising clean energy technologies, either via the formation of a start-up or by licensing the technology to an existing company.   In addition to monetary funding, the support may also include active mentoring from industry veterans and venture investors; project management assistance; competitive landscaping; business plan development; and more.  Learn More

Interested BNL researchers please contact Connie Cleary (631-344-3035), Commercialization Manager at Office of Technology Transfer and Partnerships (OTCP) before starting to draft the pre-proposal to discuss the proposed research. The BNL lead on this project is Pat Looney.
