Air Study on the Air

Photo of Miller

Brookhaven's atmospheric scientists took to the skies - and the airwaves - over Oklahoma this summer: Their research on factors that affect the formation of fair-weather clouds and how those factors influence climate modeling was featured on Oklahoma HORIZON, a weekly program on The Oklahoma Network public television station OETA. Brookhaven atmospheric scientist Mark Miller, who led the largest component of the multi-agency air-sampling study, is interviewed, and several other Brookhaven scientists are shown in the program. Oklahoma HORIZON is made possible by the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education and can be viewed weekly nationwide on RFD-TV via satellite on DirecTV*channel 379, or on Dish Network*channel 9409. You can watch the Brookhaven clip, which aired on 7/22/07, by clicking here (Real player required).
