Scope & Purpose:
The focus of this workshop will be an examination of the
theoretical and experimental issues relevant for underground physics,
especially as it pertains to the Deep Underground Science and Engineering
Laboratory (DUSEL) at Homestake in three major areas:
- Neutrino Oscillations
- Nucleon Decay
- Supernovae
A main goal of this event is to encourage discussions that will help
chart a course for progress in these exciting areas, and outline a coherent
vision for a multifaceted experimental program.
DUSEL Collaboration Meeting
There will be a small meeting on
October 14-15, 2008 as a prelude to the workshop. Please indicate when you
register if you plan on attending.
