Talking Turkey At RHIC: Beyond First Collisions

The RHIC facility has now had two successful physics runs, with early results generating several high visibility publications and intense interest and excitement within the heavy ion community. As the RHIC community prepares for its third physics run and contemplates future upgrades, it is appropriate to assess whether the initial scientific promise of this facility is being fully exploited -- are we meeting the goals which we had set for ourselves? Is a consistent physical picture emerging at RHIC? In addition to presenting specific recent results, RHIC speakers will be asked to address these larger questions.
In addition to this major theme, the meeting will focus on two other issues:
