Commemorating New York State-DOE Partnership for EIC

U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Secretary Jennifer Granholm, U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer, and New York Lieutenant Governor Antonio Delgado joined Brookhaven National Laboratory Director JoAnne Hewett to commemorate New York State's $100 million investment in the Electron-Ion Collider (EIC) project. The EIC will be a state-of-the-art nuclear physics research facility built at Brookhaven through a partnership among DOE, Brookhaven Lab, Jefferson Lab, and numerous other institutions.
