Planting Fields Arboretum State Historic Park

A former Gold Coast estate, the arboretum is comprised of over 409 acres of greenhouses, rolling lawns, formal gardens, woodland paths, and outstanding plant collections. Original historic estate buildings remain, including the 65 room Tudor Revival mansion 'Coe Hall', which is open for tours from spring through fall. Greenport

This small seaside village has become famous for its quaint retail establishments, fine dining, and night life like no other, but what makes Greenport so unique is its rich maritime history, which has been tastefully preserved for more than three centuries. New York City

"The City that never sleeps" is an exciting vibrant city that has many attractions, museums, arts, festivals, theaters, parks, historical landmarks and great sports and entertainment venues.

Port Jefferson

Long Island's Historic Seaport is one of the most picturesque of waterside villages to be found. The village maintains its "small town" appeal with shops and restaurants occupying historic buildings, a marina, and the Port Jefferson Ferry to Connecticut. Ferry schedules.

Shelter Island

This picturesque 8,000 acre island nestled between the North and South Forks of LI has beautiful homes, beaches, shops and restaurants. Accessible only by ferry shuttles from either Greenport or North Haven. The Mashomack Nature Preserve on Shelter Island has hiking trails, a nature center and guidebooks about the ecosystem.
