Requesting a New Website
Note: If you are
requesting a new Department or Division-level website or
a website for a high-priority project outlined in the
Laboratory's Annual Plan, you must follow the procedure
outlined in the
SBMS Web Communications subject area. Otherwise, you
may follow the procedure below.
- To start a new website, please get proper
authorization from your
organization. (i.e. permission from someone in authority in your
directorate, division, or group).
- You must have a
BNL Domain Account to get "author" access to ITD webservers
- You will need a
CryptoCard if you plan to author and maintain
web pages from an off-site.
- Email
www@bnl.gov to request setup of your
website.
Your email must state the following:

- I will be authoring or developing the
web pages using:
- FrontPage 2003/SharePoint Designer/Visual
Studio (.NET)
Note: it is highly recommended to use at least FrontPage
2002/2003 or the latest version of software.
