Prevent Certain Pages from Being Published
Publishing Homepage
Not publishing unnecessary files is a good practice not only for the
author, but also for web server performance which helps everybody. For authors, it's a good idea not to publish
pages that are still being developed. Backup and archive files posted
on the production server only take up unnecessary space and can hurt
processing performance. So please don't
publish these files!
