NSLS-II is continuing the AI Campaign Pilot Proposal call to support collaborative, AI-enabled scientific discovery through coordinated experimental campaigns that generate AI-ready datasets. The program will bring together research teams and NSLS-II staff to combine advanced synchrotron experiments with AI/ML methods for accelerated data analysis, experiment guidance, and scientific insight. Proposals should outline a significant scientific question, an experimental and data-sharing plan, and the AI/ML approaches that will be applied or developed, with strong emphasis on well-curated datasets and machine-readable metadata. Selected teams will receive coordinated beam time access, support for data and AI workflows, and opportunities to showcase outcomes. Proposals are due September 30, 2026 and should be submitted through the NSLS-II PASS system. More information
