2017 RHIC & AGS Annual Users' Meeting

The RHIC/AGS Annual Users' Meeting will be held on June 20-23, 2017, at Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL). The theme of this year's meeting is "From Protons to Heavy Ions, and Back Again." This year's meeting will cover all aspects of the RHIC/AGS scientific program as well as to include a special session devoted to celebrating 70 Years of Discovery at BNL and 100 years of location at Camp Upton. Six half-day workshops will be held on Tuesday June 20th; with a focus on heavy flavor and quarkonia, beam energy scan data, small systems, jets, the isobar Run in Run 18, and spin.

Plenary sessions will be held Wednesday thru Friday. On Wednesday and Thursday, the latest physics results from STAR, PHENIX, NSRL and BLIP will be presented along with reports from representatives from the funding agencies, and Thesis Award presentations. Friday will be a half-day session which will take an in-depth look at the future, and the meeting will end with a catered luncheon.
