2018 RHIC & AGS Annual Users' Meeting

The RHIC/AGS Annual Users' Meeting will be held on June 12–15, 2018, at Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL). The theme of this year's meeting is "Illuminating the QCD Landscape." This year's meeting will cover all aspects of the RHIC/AGS scientific program, from the beam energy scan to the newest spin results. Ten half-day workshops will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday June 12th and 13th; with a focus on heavy flavor and quarkonia, beam energy scan data, small systems, jets, and spin. A special workshop on both career development and inclusiveness will be held Wednesday afternoon.

The plenary sessions will be held Thursday and Friday. On Thursday, the latest physics results from STAR and PHENIX will be presented, and the Thesis Award presentations. Friday will be a half-day session, which will take an in-depth look at the future with presentations of the proposed detector upgrades, along with reports from representatives from the funding agencies, and the meeting will end with a catered luncheon.
