Being The Very Best Neighbor We Can Be, Homeless Veterans Need YOUR HELP!!!
2015 Wreaths Across America Campaign: On Saturday, December 12th,
2015 our fallen heroes where honored and remembered at the wreath laying ceremony at the Calverton
National Cemetery. The BVA is proud to have participated in this event. The mission and vision of
the
Wreaths Across America campaign is
to "spread the message about the importance of remembering our fallen heroes, honoring those who serve, and teaching
our children about the sacrifices made by veterans and their families to preserve our freedom".

Veteran Nation-We have learned
much about the readjustment process from the veterans who served during the
Vietnam era. As a country and community, we can’t afford to look the other
way and assume that our veterans will just simply return to their lives as
they were before. As a society and a caring community, we owe it to our
veterans to reach out to them; those who have given so much.

Vet to Vet Program for a list of agencies
that can assist returning veterans.
