Reservations, Cancellations & Rules for Participation
  • Paid reservations are required for all trips listed below. They can be made at the BERA Store located in Berkner (Bldg 488), Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm.
  • All tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE and are for those 21 years and older unless accompanied by BNL employee/parent.
  • BERA may limit the number of tickets per person during the first week of sales.
  • BERA trips are a BNL benefit and tickets are for BNL employees, those with guest appointments, and their families only.

    Come with BERA to the Renaissance Faire @ Tuxedo, NY. $45 per person includes the luxury coach bus, driver gratuity, and entry ticket. Enjoy the 16th Century games, continuous entertainment with costumes, music & dance, October Fest, a huge assortment of food vendors, rides, arts/craft vendors and more!  We leave Brookhaven Center at 8am and leave the Faire at 4pm.  FAQs ~ Map of Faire

    NY Jets vs Seattle Seahawks  ~ $150 per person includes your ticket, coach bus and driver tip. Seats are in Section 319 for a 1pm game and we will be on FOX!  We will leave Brookhaven Center at 9am and leave the stadium after the game at approximately 4pm.  Flyer with details.

    Starfleet Academy Experience & The Intrepid:  Celebrate the 50th anniversary of Star Trek at the Intrepid Museum— the first venue in the United States to host this immersive “Trek Tech” experience, spanning 12,000 square feet on Pier 86. Become a cadet at the Starfleet Academy, and embark on an interactive journey with Leap Motion, projection mapping, holograms and other Star Trek technologies. After student orientation, you’ll visit nine zones focusing on the Academy’s special training in language, medicine, engineering, navigation, command and science. Complete your training to learn your specialty. See Galileo, the shuttlecraft that carried the crew of starship USS Enterprise to other planets in Star Trek: The Original Series. This life-size prop is now on display in the Museum’s Space Shuttle Pavilion, alongside space shuttle Enterprise. We will have a reserved time slot to enter the Starfleet Academy Experience.

    Cost is $46 per person which includes the luxury coach bus, trip and ticket to both exhibits and the world famous carrier The Intrepid!  We will depart from Brookhaven Center at 8am and leave NY at 3:30pm. Tickets for this event must be purchased at the BERA Store by Sept 30th

    Take the LIRR to see The Lion King on Broadway at the Minskoff Theatre for a 2pm matinee with mid-mezzanine tickets. Check out this CLASSIC before the show closes!! $145 per person includes LIRR tickets and Lion King show tickets.  See attached for train details  LIRR tickets must be purchased at the BERA Store by 3:00pm on Wednesday, Oct 12th.

    Escape the Room - Take the LIRR into NYC and have some exciting fun . Escape the Room is a live interactive adventure, where you solve the clues to get you out of a locked room. $42 includes round trip LIRR transportation. After the game you are free to roam the city on your own. Visit a museum, walk the HighLine, check out a brewery. Unlike a bus trip, you do not have to cut your visit short, you can leave whenever and from wherever you like.     Do-As-You-Please LIRR trip into NYC!!! Tentative time of 10:05am from Ronkonkoma Train Station $12 pp round trip. Do as you please in NYC, and depart any time YOU want as long as it is on same day. See attached for train details.  Another suggestion to do in NYC is "Escape the Room"  LIRR tickets must be purchased at the BERA Store by 3:00pm on Wednesday, Oct 12th.

    Thurs/Fri, Nov 3 & 4, 2016

    BERKNER LOBBY 10am - 2pm ~ Come visit a very special Book Fair that has something for everyone. This is the last visit to BNL before the holidays, so get your lists ready to do some shopping!


      Friday, Nov 11th (Lab Holiday)

    We leave Brookhaven Center at 8am and arrive at the Culinary Institute of America in Hudson Valley town of Hyde Park, NY at about 11am. Cost is $60 per person and includes coach bus, lunch and driver tip. We will have a 3 course gourmet Italian luncheon in the American Bounty Restaurant and also have time for browsing in their Bakery and Gift & Book Shop. Then we'll depart at 2pm for the Walkway Over the Hudson for an hour and homeward bound about 3pm.

    Please note: If Non-Employee/Guest will be coming to board the bus at Brookhaven Center, then you as the BNL employee, are responsible to enter their name in the "Main Gate Access Form" and remind your guest to bring photo ID with them.

    We leave Brookhaven Center at 7am for our annual trip to Radio City for a 9am show.  We have reserved the entire FRONT ROW of the 3rd Mezzanine - a great view of the stage, plus leg room! Cost is $75 per person and includes the luxury coach bus, driver tip and theatre ticket. After the show, its "Do As You Please" time until 3:30pm departure from the Area of Radio City.

    NOTE: There are no children’s tickets, under 2 is free. Children who have reached their second birthday require a ticket to gain admittance to Radio City Music Hall. Any child who has yet to reach their second birthday does not require a ticket, however, they may not occupy their own separate seat and must sit on a parent or guardian's lap.

    Take the LIRR to see The Book of Mormon at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre for a 2 p.m. matinee with rear-mezzanine tickets.  Cost is $115 per person and includes LIRR ticket and theatre ticket. The Book of Mormon garnered overwhelmingly positive critical response, and set records in ticket sales for the Eugene O'Neill Theatre. The show was awarded nine Tony Awards, one of which was for Best Musical. (Tentative time of 10:05am from Ronkonkoma Train Station, see the show and depart any time YOU want as long as it is on same day.     Take the LIRR to see the new musical, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory opening in the spring. It is based on Roald Dahl's classic novel and arrives on Broadway starring Christian Borle. When Charlie wins a golden ticket to the weird and wonderful Wonka Chocolate Factory, it's the chance of a lifetime to feast on the sweets he's always dreamed of. $110 per person includes LIRR tickets and Orchestra seats for the show. Theatre tickets for this event must be purchased by January 13, 2017. Departure time and train details to be announced.

    Take the LIRR to see Hello, Dolly! -Back where they belong! Hello, Dolly! Returns to Broadway starring none other than Bette Midler. This production, the first new production of Hello, Dolly! to appear on Broadway since it opened more than fifty years ago, will pay tribute to the original work of legendary director/choreographer Gower Champion, which has been hailed both then and now as one of the greatest stagings in musical theater history. $145 per person includes LIRR tickets and mezzanine seating: G 1-25, H 103-114 & H 1-9 show tickets. Theatre tickets for this event must be purchased by November 9, 2016.   Departure time and train details to be announced.
