2016 Virtual Swim
More than 65 participants, who work in every
discipline across the Lab, completed the BERA Virtual Swim, swimming from
San Francisco to Seattle, WA from January through May! Thank you for
participating and helping us exceed the goal. The total number of miles we
swam was 1,1467.
2014 Virtual Swim
We begin where we ended
last year at the tip of the Baja Peninsula and travel up the West coast with
the goal of reaching Alcatraz Island in San Francisco Harbor. Total distance
is 1400 mi. The swim will run for three months, from January 1 to March
2013 Virtual Swimmers swam to the Baja Peninsula — about 1,900 miles from where they stopped in 2013 in Costa Rica.
2012 Virtual Swimmers went passed their goal of the Panama Canal to Playa Longosta, Costa Rica
