Brookhaven scientists to discuss Big Bang physics at first PubSci event on March 11
EVENT: PubSci, Brookhaven National Laboratory's new quarterly science café and conversation series, kicks off with an event on March 11 entitled, "Big Bang Physics and the Building Blocks of Matter." At the event, physicists working at Brookhaven Lab's ["http://www.bnl.gov/rhic/">Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC), the last operating particle collider in the U.S., will discuss what drives their curiosity:

Hoptron Brewtique in Patchogue will provide a lively setting for anyone interested in engaging in discussions with these scientists in a casual way. You don't need a degree to join the conversation, but you do need to be over 21. (The venue's rules, not ours.) Admission is free.
