Cross-correlation Spectacular with LSST: Exploring Synergies Between LSST and External Datasets to Discover Fundamental Physics


When LSST becomes fully operational in 2020, there will exist a number of other large datasets that can be combined with LSST to enhance its science return. Many other experiments will observe the same sky using different wavebands, different techniques, and with different systematics. These experiments will provide numerous opportunities for cross-correlating and more generally cross-analyzing these datasets with LSST data.

The aim of this workshop is to explore how combining external datasets with LSST will enhance the scientific reach of the LSST in cosmology and high energy physics. We hope to bring together people from diverse communities so that they talk to each other, explore synergies, and propose new ideas.
