Motivation & Plans

The objective of the 2014 CES Fall Workshop is for our ExCom to lead the discussions communicating our re-formed CES scientific goals and synergy; to be reviewed by our EAB and IAB.

  • Status Report of the renewed CES; Delineation of revised work plan; Status of any supplemental funding; Preparation for Mid-Program Review
  • Comments from the CES-IAB (Institutional Advisory Board) – interspersed
  • Comments from the CES-EAB (External Advisory Board) – interspersed
  • Working Scientific Directions
    • Materials Genome approach to Discover New Correlated HTS Materials
    • Quest for grand unified theory of correlated superconductivity
    • High Performance Superconductors – Critical Current by Design

Evening Events

Registered attendees are invited to attend the Junior Researcher Welcome Reception on Sunday evening, the Workshop Welcome Mixer/Student Poster Session on Monday evening, and the banquet on Tuesday evening.
