Chad West

During my time with the Nonproliferation and National Security (NN) team I analyzed the team's workflow and sought to programmatically reduce redundancies. I developed a C# program that took IAEA request information and appended the information to the appropriate word and excel files. This project introduced me to object oriented programming, a concept that has become vital to my career.

Since I left Brookhaven, I've completed my associates and bachelors in computer engineering technology. The next step in my educational journey is grad school. I was recently accepted to Adelphi University to pursue a master's in computer science and I look forward to the opportunity. Equipped with a bachelor's and experience I've gained from my time with the NN team and other freelance work, I'm confidently pursuing a position as a software engineer.
