When did you join Brookhaven Lab, and how did you find your way here?

I joined Brookhaven Lab on Oct 13, 2021. I knew of the Lab from international conferences and workshops.

What is your job at BNL?

What is your job at BNL? I'm working at the Scientific Data and Computing Center (SDCC) as a senior technology engineer, mainly to work on data storage operation and maintenance, as well as R&D for future data storage for Brookhaven.

What inspires your work here?

Brookhaven is a multipurpose research center, hosting diverse scientific research programs for addressing energy and environmental challenges and more. This multipurpose research inspires me to join Brookhaven to contribute in ways that benefit the scientific programs.

What is your favorite story about your job?

I enjoy R&D to explore the best solutions to meet future data storage challenges.

What future activity at the Lab are you most excited about?

Handling the data needs for the ATLAS experiment during the high-luminosity runs at the Large Hadron Collider, and for experiments at the National Synchrotron Light Source II (NSLS-II) and the future Electron-Ion Collider.
