Problem now solved! Shield stiffeners can be easily modified to accomodate coil if necessary.
The newest version of the thermal shield sent by Marek has thicker regions (for mechanical support I assume). There may be interference between these thicker parts and the magnet manifolds. You can examine drawings of the magnet with proposed manifolds roughly overlaid, and the new shield. The drawings of manifolds that we have show only the connections from the bottom pancake which has the largest radius. We need to get drawings of the top pancake soon.
