The noise estimate is an ESTIMATE for the noise and signal/noise for different detectors with the VA chip.

I used general formulas to calculate the noise contribution of parallel and serial noise sources to the total noise figure. It is based on measurements of the detector (capacitances, detector current etc...), chip and geometrical detector parameters. This estimate should be used as a guide line and a handy tool to see how individual noise contribution chang when some detector parameters change.

These are more or less theoretical limits, my personal experience is that the noise figures obtained on the test bench with actual modules is 10% to 20% worse.
