Test
of the DAQ
We have carried out a series of
tests of the LabView based readout of the CAMAC crate on different
PC platforms. Here is the summary of the results
Platforms
:
- W3.1 133MHz Pentium
- W95 133MHz Pentium
- W95 200MHz Pentium Pro
- WNT4.0 200MHz Pentium Pro
Output:
- No Output file written
- Output file written to local
disk
- as 2. But additionally running
analysis on second PC accessing data on the Output disk of DAQ
PC
- Output written to disk on the
Network (Analysis PC, with running analysis)
Readout
Data:
- Only readout of 12 Channel
LeCroy ADC
- Read out of 29 VA1 chips(ea.
128 ch.) + 1 ADC module
- Combinations of these gave
us the following read out rates:
