Signal Processing for the Phobos Silicon detectors
This is a first attempt to summarize the present implementation of signal processing in
PHAT.
The following transparencies summarize briefly
- the requirement for the signal processing
- The hardware basis of signal measurement
- Some results from module tests for signal size, pedestal and noise
- A brief overview of the signal processing implementation in PHAT
- Short discriptions of what the most basic functions are and want they do
- First results of test of the signal processing chain with testbeam data recorded in
October at the AGS with 4 Spectrometer type 1 modules.
The PowerPoint file contains pages with PS figures.
Bill G. doesn't really like Adobe so you may have trouble viewing them in the browser, but
printing them works.
