Signal Processing for the Phobos Silicon detectors

This is a first attempt to summarize the present implementation of signal processing in PHAT.

The following transparencies summarize briefly

• the requirement for the signal processing
• The hardware basis of signal measurement
• Some results from module tests for signal size, pedestal and noise
• A brief overview of the signal processing implementation in PHAT
• Short discriptions of what the most basic functions are and want they do
• First results of test of the signal processing chain with testbeam data recorded in October at the AGS with 4  Spectrometer type 1 modules.
