I will have a postdoc opening available May 2016 for 1
year with the possibility of a 2nd year extension based on performance. I am
looking for candidates with strong background in the development of ultrafast
pump-probe microscopy and its application to zero and two-dimensional nanomaterials and their related self-assembled hybrids for charge and energy
transfer explorations. Candidates should have extensive knowledge of pump-probe
spectroscopy/microscopy methods, including Labview programming and data analysis and
basic knowledge of the light matter interaction physics involving such kind of nanomaterials. FET device fabrication, clean room experience
or nanocrystal synthesis are a plus. Send CV and a short (1-2) page proposal to
who can self-support, including visiting scientists and who are interested in
joining our efforts are welcome to send CV and a short proposal of prospective
research and arrange for 2 letters or recommendation to be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We welcome MSE SBU graduate and undergraduate students with
interest in research related to efforts going on in our group. Students who would like to
rotate with the lab should send inquiries to Mircea Cotlet.
