Dr. Soroush Safaei is a Senior Research Fellow at Ghent University and Scientific Project Manager of the Horizon Europe consortium VITAL. He holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Auckland and has extensive experience in translational biomedical research and multidisciplinary project coordination. At Ghent University, Dr. Safaei focuses on advancing biomedical technologies and fostering collaborative innovation. Within VITAL, he oversees scientific alignment and collaboration among partners. Passionate about integrating engineering and health sciences, he aims to drive impactful research that improves healthcare outcomes and supports next-generation biomedical solutions.
