"Search for MSSM Higgs Bosons in the Di-tau Decay Channel at CDF"

Presented by Anton Anastassov, Rutgers University

Thursday, February 15, 2007, 3:00 pm — Small Seminar Room, Bldg. 510

We present the results of a search for inclusive production of neutral MSSM Higgs bosons in pp(bar) collisions at 1.96 TeV center of mass energy. The data were collected with the CDF II detector at the Tevatron collider at Fermilab, and correspond to an integrated luminosity of 992 pb-1. The search is performed in the Higgs to tau tau decay mode. No significant excess of events above the SM backgrounds is observed. The measurements are used to set exclusion limits on production cross-section times branching fraction to tau
pairs for Higgs masses in the range from 90 to 250 GeV. The results are interpreted as exclusions of MSSM parameter space for four benchmark scenarios.
