Condensed-Matter Physics & Materials Science Seminar

"N-leg ladders and the high Tc cuprate problem"

Presented by Doug Scalapino, UCSB

Tuesday, April 24, 2007, 1:30 pm — Small seminar room, Bldg. 510

Studies of Hubbard and t-J n-leg ladders provide insight into the
physics of the cuprate superconductors. Here we review some of what
has been learned and discuss recent work on the relationship of these
results to stripes.
