Structure resonances with specific harmonics are thought to be essential to the possible perturbation of the beam dynamics even with high orders. Traditional "necktie" diagram, frequency map analysis and Lie Algebra method were used to study these resonances. A brief introduction to gantry used in medical therapy facility and some ideas of gantry optics design will be presented.
