"The 5-Year Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe (WMAP) Observations: Cosmological Interpretation"

Presented by Eiichiro Komatsu, University of Texas

Thursday, March 12, 2009, 3:00 pm — Small Seminar Room, Bldg. 510

We have announced the results from 5 years of observations of the Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe (WMAP) on March 5, 2008. In this talk I will give the cosmological interpretation of the WMAP 5-year data, and discuss general implications for cosmology, including the cosmological constraints on the properties of dark matter, dark energy, and neutrinos.
