"Weak lensing as a dark energy probe"

Presented by Zhaoming Ma, University of Pennsylvania

Thursday, April 23, 2009, 3:00 pm — Small Seminar Room, Bldg. 510

First I will introduce weak lensing as a potentially very promising dark energy probe. Then I will talk in detail the systematic errors and how to successfully control them. In particular, photometric redshift errors, PSF uncertainties and the matter power spectrum.
