"Probing the dark energy sound speed with lensing"

Presented by Erminia Calabrese

Tuesday, June 8, 2010, 2:30 pm — Small Seminar Room, Bldg. 510

I investigate future constraints on early dark energy achievable by Planck and CMBPol experiments. I consider an early dark energy component density which is switched on at high redshifts and I moreover include the possibility of anisotropic stresses in the clustering of the dark energy component parameterized with a viscosity parameter c^2_vis . Considering CMB temperature, polarization and lensing power spectra I constrain the effective and the viscosity sound speeds for dark energy.
