The APAA's scholarship is a one-time award of $2,000 that will be presented to a student(s) of Asian heritage with a U.S. student visa, who is matriculating toward a doctorate in environmental and energy technology, biology, or chemistry on Long Island. The APAA presents this scholarship in honor of the late Brookhaven Lab scientist for whom it is named, his distinguished research, achievements, and inventions.
