Biology Department Seminar

"Structural studies of prokaryotic transcription: RNA polymerase inhibitors"

Presented by Seth Darst, Laboratory of Molecular Biophysics, The Rockefeller University, New York City

Friday, May 6, 2005, 11:00 am — John Dunn Seminar Room, Bldg. 463

The X-ray crystal structure of Thermus aquaticus RNA polymerase provides a basis for further structural and functional studies. Studies of the structure and mechanism of bacterial RNA polymerase inhibitors will be described.
