“Kate’s Pants” is a delightful play on famous women in American history. Through a magical book and eleven layers of clothes, Ms. Hansen becomes Amelia Bloomer, Sojourner Truth, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Susan B. Anthony, and Mrs. Sydney Savory Buckman. Travel through time as dress reform is interwoven through the women’s rights movement of the past 150 years.

Sandra Hansen, from Holland Michigan, began performing her original one woman plays in 1989 after becoming excited about Women’s Studies while at Hope College. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Women’s Studies and Psychology. While at Hope she took two years of acting classes. Sandra is a Presenter with the Michigan Humanities Council. Sandra Hansen has been performing since 1989 throughout the midwest and across the country.
