"Grenoble - Macromolecular Crystallography Beamlines"

Presented by Sandor Brockhauser, European Molecular Biology Laboratory

Thursday, July 20, 2006, 11:00 am — John Dunn Seminar Room, Bldg. 463

Sandor is Head of SciSoft Forum, at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory, which is a stone's throw from the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility in Grenoble, France. This talk will be a summary of everything that is going on (beamlines, robots, microfocus, canted undulators, clever software, the whole enchilada) at the ESRF in macromolecular crystallography.

He is visiting to install some software his group have developed to exploit the flexibility in a three-axis (omega, kappa, phi) crystal goniometer.
