"Initial conditions in high energy nucleus-nucleus collisions"

Presented by Yacine Methar-Tani, Orsay

Friday, November 30, 2007, 2:00 pm — Small Seminar Room, Bldg. 510

We provide a solution for the classical gauge field produced in a high energy nucleus-nucleus collision in light cone gauge where we have neglected final state interactions. Also, we describe a systematic formalism to include them.
This could be used to study gluon production in the initial stage of heavy Ion collisions, and estimate the importance of final state interactions.
