"Recent developments in hydrodynamical modeling of heavy-ion collisions"

Presented by Pasi Huovinen, Frankfurt University, Germany

Tuesday, March 20, 2012, 11:00 am — Small Seminar room

Equation of state and transport properties of strongly interacting matter are important ingredients of hydrodynamical models, and also the goal of study
in heavy ion physics. I will discuss the recent developments in our understanding of the equation of state at finite baryon number densities, and of the
temperature dependence of the shear viscosity of strongly interacting matter.
