Abstract:
An overview of the J-PARC facility will first be given, followed by an introduction to the Main Ring injection system, the problems encountered during operation due to device imperfections will limit beam power because of beam loss. In order to accommodate the increasing beam intensity, the injection system needs to be upgraded. Several ideas for the upgrade will be introduced.
