The Fusion-X@BNL Workshop is a collaborative forum designed to showcase Brookhaven National Laboratory's unique capabilities and foster new partnerships in fusion energy research. The workshop brings together researchers, laboratory leadership, and subject matter experts to explore opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration across key areas of fusion science. The program features introductory talks from laboratory leadership and facility representatives, followed by focused technical sessions on Enabling Technologies, Fusion Materials and Characterization, and Nuclear Data, each combining expert presentations with extended discussions to encourage knowledge sharing and identify future research directions.

Afternoon laboratory tours highlight Brookhaven's world-class user facilities and research infrastructure, including NSLS-II, magnet technologies, the Accelerator Test Facility (ATF), and advanced instrumentation. The workshop concludes with breakout discussions and a wrap-up session aimed at identifying synergistic research opportunities, strengthening collaborations, and advancing Brookhaven's role in supporting the future of fusion energy.
