Concert Featuring Guitarists Frank Vignola and Vinny Raniolo at Brookhaven Lab June 12

UPTON, NY — Frank Vignola, an accomplished guitarist and composer, will perform at the U.S. Department of Energy's Brookhaven National Laboratory on Friday, June 12, at 8 p.m. Sponsored by the BNL Music Club, the concert at the Brookhaven Center is open to the public. All visitors to the Laboratory 16 and older must bring a photo I.D.

Vignola started playing guitar at the age of five. His repertoire crosses many genres and includes songs from Mozart to Black Sabbath as well as American popular songs, traditional jazz, bluegrass and contemporary tunes. Vignola has recorded and toured with musical icons including Ringo Starr, Madonna, and Leon Redbone. He has performed at masterclasses at many universities and colleges throughout the United States.

Joining Vignola on stage will be local guitarist Vinny Raniolo. At the age of 23, Raniolo has already had a diverse career. In addition to local gigs, Raniolo toured with the Radio Disney band as the lead guitarist, traveling throughout the U.S. and Caribbean Islands.
