Andrew Kiss is the lead beamline scientist for the the Submicron Resolution X-ray (SRX) beamline, 5-ID, at the NSLS-II. There he focuses on studying complex systems in energy and materials science; such as lithion-ion battery and advanced manufacturing - laser power bed fusion metal additive manufacturing - research.
