I am a physicist with research interests in both understanding and manipulating the properties of nanoscale and correlated 'quantum' materials using light.

Following a Humboldt fellowship at the Max Planck Institute for the Structure and Dynamics of Matter (2020-2023), I joined Brookhaven National Laboratory in 2023 to found a research group in studying and manipulating novel quantum materials with light. In particular, we use intense pulses of light in the terahertz and mid-infrared frequency ranges to dynamically control material properties and probe them using nonlinear 'multi-dimensional' spectroscopies.
