Mr. Heneveld is a Licensed Professional Engineer and a Certified Industrial Hygienist. Brian has significant experience in environmental cleanups and worker safety and exposure control. Currently, he is responsible for the oversight of the Experimental Safety Review process for NSLSII, inclusive of review and approval of documentation, as well as the development of risk analyses for higher risk experiments (highly toxic, energetics, radioactive, biological, etc.) and establishing appropriate controls. He is also responsible for construction and maintenance planning and oversight including development and review job hazard analysis.
Primary responsibilities include providing professional knowledge and expertise in the administration, support and implementation of health and safety programs to assure compliance with regulatory agency guidelines, consensus standards and institutional policies.
