Bob started his career at Brookhaven in 1991 as a staff engineer with the Environmental Protection Division. Over the course of the past 28+ years he has held several engineering and management positions culminating in his current position with the NSLS-II, a position held since April 2013. Prior to BNL he spent 6 years in the environmental consulting industry serving local industries with environmental compliance issues including regulatory permitting and environmental contamination investigation and remediation projects.

Bob's background has numerous specialty areas including: regulatory permitting, environmental assessments, design of waste water and air emission treatment systems, OSHA compliance (construction and industrial), safety and health assessments, accelerator safety requirements.
