Carol Clontz

Carol joined the laboratory in 2022, bringing over 30 years of experience in export compliance, trade controls, and international logistics. She has deep expertise in ITAR and EAR regulations, with a proven track record of developing and leading compliance programs, delivering training, and conducting internal audits.

Prior to joining the lab, Carol served as an Empowered Official and held senior compliance and management roles at MITEQ, L3 Harris, and Narda Holdings (Narda-MITEQ), where she advised executive leadership on regulatory risk, managed export licensing, and oversaw Consent Agreement requirements. She also served as an Order Processing Manager, overseeing customer purchase order processing and contract review to ensure regulatory alignment at the point of sale. 

Earlier in her career, Carol spent eight years in international logistics with Certified Air Cargo, coordinating global shipments and managing export and import documentation requirements.

Her background spans the defense, space, commercial, and freight forwarding industries, providing a well-rounded perspective on export and import trade compliance.
