Cathy Cook

Cathy Cook is an engaged self-starter with extensive expertise in administration, automation, event planning, and project management. She joined Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) on August 1, 2022, supporting the Office of Research Partnerships and Technology Transfer (RPTT) and the Export Control Office (ECO) as a Sr. Administrative Services Assistant. Prior to BNL, Cathy spent years supporting operations, human resources, quality, and marketing at several manufacturing and high-voltage electronics engineering firms.

Cathy currently supports the Environmental and Climate Sciences Department. She manages travel arrangements, expenses, and coordinates events. As the Procurement Liaison, she oversees BNL credit card purchasing, requisitions, and contracts. She serves as the Guest Information System (GIS) Administrator. Additionally, she handles HR-related matters.

Cathy actively participates in Admin Forum Meetings and is currently a member of the Administrative Professionals Steering Committee.
