David Bergman is an electrical engineer in the Electrical Engineering Group in the Accelerator Division at the National Synchrotron Light Source II. His responsibilities include magnet power supply design and maintenance, test system development for performance validation and calibration of power supplies and associated controls, data analysis, system modeling, and Top-Off Safety magnet interlocks. Before coming to BNL, he had 20 years of experience in precision electronic instrumentation and electrical metrology from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), both in Maryland.
