Gabrielle Stuve

Gabrielle is a key member of the NSLS-II Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) Operations Group, where she helps ensure the safe and compliant operation of the facility.

Key Responsiblities:

Experimental Review Coordinator (ERC): Gabrielle takes on the vital responsibility of being the Experimental Review Coordinator (ERC) for the NSLS II Experimental Safety Review (ESR) process to ensure safe execution of experiments conducted both at the Beamlines and in our Laboratories.

Team Lead for ESH Inspections: Gabrielle leads the ESH Inspections team at NSLS II, overseeing the inspections. Her leadership ensures that our facility maintains the highest safety standards.

Machine Shop Oversight: Gabrielle also takes on the responsibility of overseeing the NSLS II Machine Shops (with >100 machines), ensuring that they operate safely and efficiently.

In addition,  she is also involved in the certification of the Personnel Protective Systems (PPS) and the Oxygen Deficiency Hazard(ODH) monitors for both accelerators and beamlines at the NSLS II facility. 

Before joining the lab in 2010, Gabrielle spent 5 years providing safety oversight at an OSHA Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) Star Site.
