Gabrielle Stuve

Gabrielle plays a crucial role at NSLS II as a dedicated member of the Environmental, Safety and Health (ESH) Operations Group.  

Key Responsibilities:

Experimental Review Coordinator (ERC): Gabrielle takes on the vital responsibility of being the Experimental Review Coordinator (ERC) for the NSLS II Experimental Safety Review (ESR) process to ensure safe execution of experiments conducted both at the Beamlines and in our Laboratories.

Team Lead for ESH Inspections: Gabrielle leads the ESH Inspections team at NSLS II, overseeing critical safety assessments and inspections. Her leadership ensures that our facility maintains the highest safety standards.

Machine Shop Oversight: Gabrielle also takes on the responsibility of overseeing the NSLS II Machine Shops, ensuring that they operate safely and efficiently.

Subject Matter Expert (SME): Gabrielle serves as SME for the ESH Inspections Subject Area.  She also services as Co SME for the ESR section within the Work Planning and Control Subject Area. Her expertise is invaluable in maintaining high standards of safety and compliance. 

In addition,  she is also involved in the certification of the Personnel Protective Systems (PPS) and the Oxygen Deficiency Hazard(ODH) monitors for both accelerators and beamlines at the NSLS II facility. 

Before joining the lab in 2010, Gabrielle spent 5 years providing safety oversight at an OSHA Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) Star Site.
