Jiemin Li joined the National Synchrotron Light Source II (NSLS-II) in 2019 and became a beamline scientist of nanoARPES and nanoRIXS imaging beamline in 2023.
His research focuses on the understanding of electron behaviors in quantum materials with photon-based techniques, such as resonant elastic and inelastic x-ray scattering (REXS/RIXS), X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) and angle-resolved photon emission spectroscopy (ARPES). He is also interested in combining the imaging process and spectroscopic probes to explore the new physics with x-rays in small-scale systems (~100nm).
